Customer Rental Requirements:

• GoCars hold a maximum of 2 people. Prices are per GoCar, not per person and include gas.

• All the day of rental, a $300 security deposit will be held on your credit card until the GoCar is returned.

Tiina Talumees Fashion Studio invites you on the 19th of November 2012 to take part of the Autumn 2012 show at the Seaplane Harbour that has been adjusted specially for the event. This excusive show, accessible only for a selected audience, has been a meeting point for fashionable, high-quality and luxury-defined guests.

The time of the whole event is scheduled for three hours, starting with private aperitif, a 45-minute fashion show presenting 60 exceptional outfits and an exclusive after-party.

Already for eight years, the studio has been organizing unforgettable performances in fashion. The shows have been held at the Estonian History Museum’s Great Guild Hall, the Noblessnery Foundry, the Theatre NO99, the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, the Nokia Concert Hall, the Dancing With The Stars Studio, the Puppet Theatre, the Estonian Fairs hall, also in club BonBon. Tiina’s collection presentations are abundant symbiosis of fashion, music and well picked location.

The Autmn/Winter collection emphasis is on the sea, its intimacy, endless peace and magical beauty. Tallinn, as a sea town, gives it an excellent opportunity. The greatest source of inspiration for Tiina has been the Estonian Maritime Museum Seaplane Harbour. So the designer dives closer to the sea, in order to create one of a kind, different blue shade consisted dainty collection. An encompassing theme absorption has been created using as many different materials as possible – from wool to tender chiffon – and all of it through the blue tone.

To outlook the whole event, we have planned to attract musical performer(s) who will create enjoyable environment during the gathering/show.

The unique seaplane hangars and the whole Seaplane Harbour was built from 1916 to 1917 as a part of ante First World War Peter the Great Maritime Castle and today these are important architectural-historical memorials. Hangars were built and projected by Danish company Christiani & Nielsen. Probably the world’s first large-scaled, 50 x 100 meter sized ground plan, hangars, which are bridged by three compounded ferro-concrete shelled globes, which at those times were meant to accommodate even the biggest seaplanes.

Itinerary:

Day 1 Thursday: Arriving in Padang City. In the afternoon take ambu ambu ferry go to Mentawai islands.

Day 2 Friday: Arriving at muara siberut, take boat to accommodation. Checking in and go to surf spot. Start surfing.

Day 3 Saturday through Day 7 Thursday : Surf eat, surf eat, surf eat, surf again and again … sleep

Day 8 Friday: Breakfast, surf, lunch, take ambu ambu ferry to padang…

Day 9 Saturday: Arrive in padang city drop out to air port.

The Mentawaians live in the jungle villages and have to rely on the jungle for their food, clothing and medicine. On our trek we will join the Mentawaians on their daily trip to jungle to see how they make their life, how they gather their foods, clothes, medicines, poisons for their primitive weapons like spears and arrows, learn the differences of the trees, plants, and how they use their primitive equipments.

Trekking through the wet and muddy Mentawai jungle is truly a once in a lifetime experience, Imagine swims on the tropical river, swings on vines, soaked in mud baths and sings the traditional songs along the way. Don’t worry its not too strenuous so you don’t have to be too fit to trek the Mentawai jungles !

6 DAYS / 5 NIGHT TREKKING PACKAGES

Day 01

Leave Muaro Padang Harbour at 8 pm, taking the overnight ferry boat to Siberut. Watchout for dolphins and flying fish, they can often be seen. Day 02 Arrive at Siberut in the early morning around 7 AM, where we will have a breakfast and a “mandi”. At about 10 AM we will leave by a small tailboat for a 3 or 4 hours of sailing the river deep into the jungle. Then we will trek for about 1 to 2 hours through to the jungle to our first Mentawaians village.

Day 03-04

Depending on the group members we will stay at either one or two Mentawai’s uma (traditional house), this will allow far closer familiarity and interaction with the Mentawai people. Each day will be filled with variety of activities such as loin cloth making, fishing, sago processing, basket weaving, bracelet making and making poisons for their traditional weapons such as arrows and spears. And we will trek following them to the jungle for some 2 or 3 hours, to hunt and to gather vegetables and plants.On many occasions its also possible to see a Mentawaians ceremony, usually happens with all the village community gather together to sing and dance in their traditional dressses. And usually this ceremony will be held under the supervision of the village’s Sikerei ( Medicine Man ) Day 05

We will trek for 2 hours to Badrogot village, where we will take a small tailboat back to Muara Siberut. The we will take a ferry to take us to Padang. Usually the ferry will depart at 8 PM. Day 06 We will arrive at Padang at about 8 AM.
